Nonverbal communication is the act of sending and receiving messages without using words. It gives us insights about how a person receives information, it also helps us relate better and establish meaningful interactions.
‘’ The quality of your conversation is the quality of your life.”
– Anthony Robbins –
Types of nonverbal communication are: – facial display, eye behaviour, movement and gesture, vocal behaviour etc.
‘’ If you communicate you can get by.But if you communicate skilfully you can work miracles.” – Jim Rohn –
Though nonverbal signals differ in people, it does give us clues about the emotions of a person. To get valuable information from a speaker, his/her nonverbal communication is synchronised with his/her verbal signals at the time of speaking.
