Recruitment process involves steps taken to select employees to fill into openings in an organization. An effective recruitment selection has lower hiring costs, enhances the organizations reputation and identifies the best talent.
Steps involved in effective recruitment processes are:-
- Identify the needs of the organization.
- prepare the job description.
- Strategize and create recruitment plan that will enable you meet the right candidate.
- Start the search i.e. posts adverts on social media platform, use referrals etc.
- Conduct a phone interview to screen candidates and narrow down the selection process.
- Interview in person.
- Chose the right candidate.
- Verify the references given by the candidates.
- Put the right candidate through on boarding.
Employment processes requires a lot of time and effort. The entire process can only be worth the stress when the best employee is hired.
