The training focused on creating awareness in employees on the need to start planning early for their retirement. The need for organisation to incorporate retirement planning into their staff induction programme was equally emphasised. It was buttressed that the mind plays a key role in planning for retirement. You must be able to conceptualise and have vivid image of the kind of future you seek.
Equally stressed was the need for participants to take execution seriously. It is not enough to develop beautiful strategic retirement plans, one should equally take the necessary steps to break down these plans into activities that can be carried out on a daily basis without losing focus of the main objective: that is, to stay resourceful and continuously thrive even in retirement.
