CAREER STAGES

Exploration: – At this stage one makes preliminary choices about a career path.

Establishment: – Here a person seeks for a job in a chosen field.

Mid service: – At this stage one seeks improvement on his/her career path.

Late Service: – A shift occurs from one role to another.

Decline: –       A state of retirement

Career development helps one learn better aspects of their work and improve one’s capabilities. Employees need to broaden their short term thinking and think past their current job.
